「Top Design of Small Project 2」 was curated and selected for 56 outstanding Korean projects and 30 global projects with a total floor area of less than 6,000㎡.
The motto of the book is to promote the value of the data as it forms the basis of comparing and analyzing awarded design work and all applied design works with originality. It also provides a public measure to judge the level of contemporary architecture.
「중.소규모 건축 디자인 2」는 공공건축의 설계공모 우선 적용 대상을 설계비 2억 1천만 원에서 1억 원 이상 건축물로 대하는 ‘건축서비스산업 진흥법 시행령’ 개정안이 2020년부터 시행됨에 따라, 연면적 6,000㎡의 우수한 프로젝트 국내 56작품, 해외 30작품을 선정하여 편집했다.
이는 훌륭한 당선안과 건축의 창의성이 돋보이는 다양한 응모안들을 한 자리에 모아 비교, 분석할 수 있는 토대를 마련함으로써 자료적인 가치를 높여 나가는 작업이다. 또한, 당대 건축의 수준을 가늠할 수 있는 척도를 제공하는 공시성을 갖는다.
