1년동안 조경건축 현상설계를 통하여 당선된 작품들을 한데 모아 매년 1권씩 발간하는 책이다.
Landscape Architecture Competition is for selecting the most suitable design for the objective project through competing with applicants. It is, in addition, to choose a landscape architect who understands and deals with the client′s purpose of the landscape. Real landscape design begins as the suitable design and the best design are selected after diverse competitions.
설계경기는 제출안들의 경합을 통하여 대상 프로젝트의 성격에 가장 부합되는 설계안을 수상하는 일이다. 아울러 조경에 관한 클라이언트의 목적을 잘 이해하고 해결할 수 있는 조경가를 선정하는 일이기도 하다. 여러 가지 형태의 설계경기 경합을 벌여 그 중 가장 적합한 설계안과 조경가를 선정함으로써 본격적인 조경행위가 이루어진다.
We publish a volume with various data on these annual Landscape Architecture. The motto of the book is to promote the value of the data as it forms the basis of comparing and analyzing awarded design work and all applied design works with originality. It also provides a public measure to judge the level of contemporary Landscape Architecture.
우리는 이 설계경기의 자료들을 모아 매년 1권의 설계경기연감을 발간하였다. 이는 훌륭한 당선안과 조경의 창의성이 돋보이는 다양한 응모안들을 한 자리에 모아 비교, 분석할 수 있는 토대를 마련함으로써 자료적인 가치를 높여 나가기 위함이다. 또한 당대 조경의 수준을 가늠할 수 있는 척도를 제공하는 공시성을 제공하고 있다.
